Many corporations utilize the service of maternity coaching to assist expecting mothers in a return to work plan. I bringing this much needed service to the mainstream, because all families should have access to such an amazing service. Maternity coaching focusing on helping people adjust to the change of becoming a parent. You have a baby and suddenly the you, you once knew, is no longer. It can be a difficult yet beautiful time. As it’s important to have support and accountability during those difficult times. As a maternity coach, I help you navigate and find time to refocus on the things most important to you.

25% of mothers go back to work 2 weeks after giving birth. Imagine having to return to work that soon, after giving birth. The average time of recovering is six weeks, and that’s barely enough time to do much of anything. This service helps parents focus on what’s most important to them. This services offers you the support you need to do what’s right for your and your family’s needs.

What’s the difference between a Maternity Coach and a doula?

A doula provides physical and emotional support during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and shortly after. They are a valuable resource. A maternity coach assists in the preparation, planning, educations, during pregnancy, and after birth (including the transition into parenthood.)

What is a maternity plan?

The art of bringing children into the world, is an unpredictable art. Sometimes it feels like you are free falling. Some people cope with this through planning and organizing. Others hire some to do it for them. The maternity plan is a basic plan to help you think about what your maternity leave would look like. From finances to bonding time with your baby. Having a plan, secures your mind, and prepares you for the unpredictable.

How are you Different from all the other life coaches?

First, I’m a licensed professional, who has worked with people on a very deep level. While this service will feel therapeutic, it does not substitute for mental health therapy. But, I know my stuff! I promise to offer a valuable tangible service. Because while yes, pixie dust and words of encouragement feel good, it doesn’t always help when you’ve had very little sleep and a crying human who doesn’t speak the language. Nor does it feel good when your body has betrayed you. Finding your way to peace after moving through this journey can be so difficult. It’s a sensitive period of time in your life that deserves to be handled with tender, love and care.

What’s The difference between a coach and a counselor?

A counselor provides deep processing of current life, behaviors, habits, and emotions to help bring you from dysfunction to higher function. Through unearthing the past, and other systems in place in a counseling relationship we heal wounds to help you create a stronger future. Counseling is a deep dive look into your life. In coaching we stick to solution focus steps. In the coaching relationship we create plans and clearly define goals while you gain an accountability partner and place of support.

Coaching services on this site will be suited for couples and individuals who are not experiencing mental health challenges or deep issues that require deep processing and/or longterm assistance.
